Hold Harmless Agreement
I, ________________________________, have agreed to rent “Wild Acres”/ “Loafing Rocks” on Southport Island, Maine, from Gleason Family Maine Limited Partnership. I agree that, should I, or anyone in my party, use the dock and/or boats in Christmas Cove, I/we will comply with local and Federal Coast Guard Rules. I/we will not take any craft from the property beyond the mouth of Christmas Cove. I understand that using watercraft or the dock are inherently dangerous activities and I/we do so at my/our own risk.
I further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Gleason Family Maine Limited Partnership, its representatives or agents from any and all claims, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, settlements, costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees and costs arising out of or resulting from such activities.
I fully waive my rights to any claim against the Gleason Family Maine Limited Partnership, its representatives or agents, arising out of or resulting from such activities, including but not limited to bodily injury or damage to my/our own property. The presence or absence of insurance coverage applicable to my/our participation in such activities in no way modifies or reduces my waiver of rights against Gleason Family Maine Limited Partnership, its representatives or agents.
